Our World Languages Department is proud to offer a diverse range of language courses that foster cultural literacy, enhance communication skills, and promote academic achievement. Whether students are just beginning their language journey or are heritage speakers seeking to deepen their skills, we offer courses tailored to meet a wide range of needs and interests.
 
Spanish Language Courses
  • Spanish 1, 2, 3
     Designed for students learning Spanish as a second language. Emphasis is placed on communication, vocabulary development, grammar, and cultural understanding.

  • Spanish for Native Speakers (NS1, NS2)
     Tailored for students who already speak Spanish at home. These courses enhance literacy skills, vocabulary, and cultural knowledge while fostering pride in heritage.

  • AP Spanish Language and Culture
     A college-level course that prepares students for the AP Spanish Language and Culture exam, focusing on advanced communication and deep cultural insights.

  • AP Spanish Literature and Culture
     For advanced Spanish speakers, this course explores significant works of literature from the Spanish-speaking world, fostering literary analysis and cultural appreciation.

 
 
French Language Courses
  • French 1 & 2
     Introductory and intermediate courses designed to develop basic communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, with cultural exploration integrated throughout.

  • AP French Language and Culture
     A rigorous course equivalent to a college-level French class, preparing students for the AP exam through immersive language practice and cultural analysis.

 
 
 
Hmong Language Courses
  • Hmong 1, 2, 3
     These courses are designed for students interested in learning or deepening their knowledge of the Hmong language and culture. Students develop skills in speaking, reading, writing, and understanding Hmong in both traditional and contemporary contexts.

  •  This exciting new course introduces students to the Hmong language and heritage, supporting both cultural identity and language acquisition.
